From humble beginnings in 2006 to transforming an entire community through education and empowerment
🌱 Our Foundation Story
Founded in 2006 in a backward slum area of Gwalior, serving laborers, minors, scheduled castes/tribes, and below poverty line families. Our location was an alcoholic male-dominated society with lack of education and awareness.
Our Secretary, educated from Ahmedabad before marriage, faced immense challenges starting this mission. Coming from a laboral family herself, she fought poverty and old mindset society with unwavering determination. Her husband supported her goals by fighting initial challenges with poverty and society mindset together.
Foundation Years (2006-2009): These were our most challenging years where our secretary worked tirelessly with the mission, facing many obstacles. As both came from labor families, they worked hard together to establish this organization.
Today's Impact: Since 2006 with Indian Society registration, we are unstoppable and 100% transparent with yearly audits. We've transformed from a struggling initiative to a globally recognized organization that has impacted 5000+ underprivileged children with quality education and 500+ women with skill development.

Devi Savitri NGO gave me the opportunity to complete my education when my family couldn't afford it. Today, I'm pursuing higher studies and dream of becoming a teacher.
The skill development program changed my life completely. I learned tailoring and now run my own small business. I can support my family and feel independent.
As a parent, I'm grateful that my children receive quality education here. The teachers are dedicated, and the environment is nurturing.
